Council updates codes, revises permit fees

Did you know that the City of Eloy has a $27.50 permit fee to replace your water heater?
It’s OK if you didn’t know, some council members didn’t know either.
During the Dec. 14 meeting the Eloy City Council adopted the 2018 International Codes and the 2017 National Electrical Code. In a 6-1 vote the council also approved to some revisions to the city’s building permits and inspection fees, Mayor Micah Powell voted against the fee revisions.
