DAR Community Service Award presented to Robin Barker

The Apache Trail Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution on Dec. 5 presented Apache Junction Councilmember Robin Barker with a DAR Community Service Award.
DAR Community Service Awards are presented to individuals and organizations that have contributed to the community in an outstanding manner through voluntary heroic, civic, benevolent service, or by organizing or participating in community activities within the past five years, according to a release.
A longtime volunteer and member in Apache Junction, Mrs. Barker was presented with the award for her dedication and commitment to her community.
