Eloy council discusses marijuana regulations following Prop. 207 approval

Many cities are working on establishing ordinances after voters approved Proposition 207, which allows potential marijuana establishments to apply for permits from the Arizona Department of Health Services beginning on Jan. 19.

During Monday’s work session the Eloy City Council discussed proposed regulations for recreational marijuana facilities within the city.

Planning Manager Jerry Stabley told the council that ADHS will also develop rules and regulations in addition to individual city regulations.
