Stonegate development along Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway moves forward

With new developments seemingly underway all over Maricopa, Rodolfo Lopez, deputy director of economic development for the city, presented another large development along Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway on Dec. 1 to the City Council.
The proposal, which was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission last month, would amend the zoning requirements for the planned area development Stonegate.
Stonegate is a nearly 54-acre, four-part development plan that includes single-family homes, multifamily homes, offices and a mixture of large and small commercial spaces. The new development sits to the north of Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and west of Stonegate Road.
