Florence Hospital on Hunt Highway is putting patients in its little-used secure inmate wing, a top official told the Town Council Monday.
Damon Brown, regional president of Steward Healthcare, which operates the local hospital, said Florence Hospital began taking inmate patients on Dec. 16.
