For District 1 Supervisor Kevin Cavanaugh, District 4 Supervisor Jeffrey McClure, and District 5 Supervisor Jeff Serdy, today represented their first Board of Supervisor meeting, having all been elected to the Board in recent elections.   The Board will meet for a Work Session meeting on January 13, with the next Regular Board of Supervisors meeting taking place on January 27.
Chairman Miller said of his appointment, “I feel privileged to have been voted to the position of Chairman by my colleagues as I begin my third term in office.   I can’t wait to roll my sleeves up and get to work collaborating with our new Supervisors in continuing the strong work of the previous Board to make Pinal County as successful as it can be for our community.   This will be my third stint as Chairman since I took office in 2013, and once again, I look forward to working closely with our dedicated and talented County staff in this role.”
Vice-Chairman Goodman commented, “I am honored that my fellow board members have chosen me to serve as vice-chair this year. I look forward to working alongside my fellow Supervisors as we continue to create a better future for the County.   With several new additions to our team, I am eager to learn from them and for the opportunity to work together. I am grateful for the groundwork laid by predecessors and hope we can continue that legacy. Our County is growing at a rapid pace, and I am confident that this board and our staff will help facilitate that growth and influence positive changes.”
