Coolidge Chamber officially cancels plans for Cotton Days

There will be no Cotton Days in 2021. During a chamber luncheon on Feb. 24, Coolidge Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Lynn Parsons announced it would not take place.

“We feel that April is too soon to have it, but then it gets too hot,” Parsons said. “Instead of keeping everybody hanging and continually changing dates, we decided it was best to cancel it for this year for the sake of community health.”

Originally the City Council had approved tentative plans for an event the first week in April.
