CG council OKs revised employee classifications

The City Council approved on Monday revised employee classification and pay plans to be effective with the pay period that includes April 1.
According to the agenda, employees were invited to review their specific position descriptions and suggest additions or deletions as they saw fit. After that, the data was reviewed by the employee’s supervisor or department director and transmitted to a consultant.
From then, position descriptions were revised and some adjustments were made to position titles while other positions were reclassified.
