Coolidge sniffs out solutions for odor problem at wastewater plant
by Aaron Dorman | Coolidge Examiner
Residents of Coolidge have been complaining for months about the stink coming from the city’s wastewater treatment plant.
Unfortunately, several recent retirements had left the city without manpower to deal with the issue. But this week, the City Council approved a deal with EUSI to use its services and help run the site.
“Residents have been smelling the smell for a long time,” said Coolidge Mayor Jon Thompson. “I want to make our citizens happy.”
