Beautification of CG underpass approved by City Council

Residents can expect to see the beautification of the Gila Bend Highway railroad underpass after the City Council approved a $280,725 contract with Ellison-Mills LLC.
According to a presentation shown at the meeting, the beautification project should provide much-needed inspiration and unity as the community heals from the COVID-19 experience.
During the meeting, the council was presented with two other options that would have cost nearly $400,000 and $114,071, but accepted the mid-range proposal for the art and other improvements.
