Biosphere 2 helps UA land French research partnership

Biosphere 2 in Pinal County is what made the University of Arizona an ideal partner with the French on an international research center, authorities said.
The facility in Oracle is the only place in the world where scientists can simulate climate change and study its effects on entire ecosystems in one location.
The UA and the French National Centre for Scientific Research signed a research collaboration agreement this month to establish a new international research center focused on the environment, space science, data science and global climate change.
