CG council to consider City Hall improvements

The City Council will meet Monday evening to discuss several improvements at City Hall including security enhancements and new flooring.
According to the agenda, staff recommends the mayor and City Council award a contract to Capital R Construction for security improvements at City Hall costing $50,000.
Some key points of the project include secured entryways at main City Hall and Development Center entrances and establishing a culture where citizens will be escorted to their destination rather than walking freely around City Hall.
