Coolidge mayor touts city accomplishments during pandemic year

Mayor Jon Thompson began his “State of the City” address to the Coolidge Chamber of Commerce by affirming that the pandemic was a disaster.
“We lost a lot of good citizens,” Thompson said April 21. “By no means did we take it lightly.”
But in noting the losses, Thompson highlighted the theme of his presentation, which was that the city’s current and future successes were being powered by Coolidge residents with a community ethic.
