First economic development director presents basic plan

At a working session, members of the Florence Town Council received their first view of the economic development plan put together by the town’s first economic development director.
After the meeting, Elan Vallender said the document was not meant to be a literal plan, but more of a 10,000-foot view of what needs to be addressed in order to spur economic development in the town.
“This was by no means a final document,” he said.
