Wastewater treatment rates expected to rise for Queen Creek customers

EPCOR said it’s raising rates to help fund improvements

EPCOR is raising its rates for residents in Queen Creek, Florence and San Tan Valley.

At the Wednesday, April 7, Queen Creek Town Council meeting, EPCOR officials gave a presentation of the changes coming now that it has fully purchased Johnson Utilities. 

The system formerly known as Johnson Utilities is now called the San Tan District of EPCOR.  The 160-square-mile service area serves approximately 29,450 water and 40,160 wastewater customers in the communities of Florence, Queen Creek and unincorporated San Tan Valley in Pinal County. EPCOR does not provide water to Queen Creek residents.
