CG’s economic specialist becomes VP at state agency

The city’s economic development specialist, Fernando Garcia, has announced that he will serve as the new vice president of business development at the Arizona Commerce Authority.

“It’s about elevating the quality of life across the state,” Garcia said. The agency partners with local economic departments.

“It’s going to be a great opportunity,” Garcia said. “I’m excited to learn from them.”
