Eloy chamber gets new home; City Council holds budget work session

The Eloy Chamber of Commerce will have a new home after the City Council approved a marketing services and lease agreement for it to occupy a building on Main Street beginning next month.
The chamber previously operated out of the Santa Cruz Valley Museum along with the Sunland Visitor Center.
“It seemed that there wasn’t enough room and the visitor center could use more space,” City Manager Harvey Krauss said. “The chamber didn’t have a visible presence in the community since they were out of downtown, so it was a general consensus that the chamber would be better served in the downtown area.”
