New Circle K development breaking ground in the Town of Florence

[NEWS RELEASE] The Town of Florence is one of the oldest towns in Pinal County and is regarded as a National Historic District filled with historic buildings and its rich history. Just 61 miles southeast of Phoenix and a 15-minute drive from the next town over in San Tan Valley, Florence is starting to show some momentum with new residential housing developments and commercial real estate retail and restaurant opportunities. Director of Retail & Sales Investments, Rommie Mojahed is known for his knowledge in the commercial real estate industry and is thrilled to announce the hard corner PAD sale for $1,160,000.

Rommie Mojahed represented the seller Carson Brown with Legacy Collateral Holdings, LLC. Circle K Stores, Inc. purchased just around 1.5 acres to build a new Circle K directly on the northwest hard corner of Hunt Highway and Merrill Ranch Rd. The Economic Development Director, Elan Vallender with the Town of Florence stated, “Gas stations means so much more than just fueling opportunities anymore. Circle K in downtown Florence is a hub of activity and we expect this new store near Anthem at Merrill Ranch to be the same.” Just across the street is the Safeway anchored shopping center with several retailers but Vallender also stated, “Residents in Anthem at Merrill Ranch have expressed a desire to see more dining options and community services-based businesses.” According to Safewise, Florence, Arizona is the #1 safest cities to live.

Mojahed said, “We are excited to have closed this deal because having a strong brand like Circle K move into the community will bring great amenities and convenience for the residents in the nearby area.” The Economic Development Director,Vallender also stated, “It will be a great place for residents to fuel up, grab a coffee, a sandwich or a slice of pizza. This station means that not only will Florence keep more dollars in our community, but it will also add employment opportunities for the youth and unemployed in our workforce.”

There are still 28 acres available and Mojahed said, “We hope that we will be able to bring in some fast-food concepts, sit down dining restaurants and retail shops that will bring more dining and shopping experiences for the residents in the area. There is a strong opportunity to accommodate the master-planned community, Anthem at Merrill Ranch that is located right across the street.”
