Job Overview:

Pinal Partnership is seeking an executive director to work alongside the President/CEO to bring together public and private stakeholders to advocate for responsible economic development in Pinal County. The executive director will run day-to-day operations of the organization to ensure current members are well represented while also seeking and engaging new members. These efforts include administrative duties, marketing, business development and planning. A successful candidate is comfortable working on a wide range of projects from content creation, light website coding, event planning and engaging new and current members of the organization while also serving as a resource to the members and community.

Reports To:

The Executive Director will report to the President/CEO and Board of Directors.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Work with President and Chairperson to plan and execute monthly membership events that include a panel and large audience
  • Plan and organize special events i.e. golf tournament, mixers, community events, etc.
  • Identify and secure sponsorships for Pinal Partnership events
  • Work with the President to ensure all Pinal Partnership events and meetings are properly staffed
  • Assist committees with summits, tours, and events that take place
  • Attend all scheduled Pinal Partnership related meetings and assist as needed
  • Ensure current members are getting what they are paying for in their level of membership
  • Retain and communicate with current members
  • Maintain proper branding is in place for current members when Pinal Partnership markets their brand
  • Send out invoices monthly to current members and consistently communicate with them about their renewal until membership is paid or the member chooses not to renew
  • Keep a database of current membership
  • Develop ways to increase membership levels and engage past due members
  • Work with Board of Directors to identify potential members and plan outreach
  • Maintain a current report on potential members to communicate with the Board Members so they can help recruitment efforts
  • Keep record of all Pinal Partnership documents and ensure all information is current
  • Develop materials for promotional presentation as needed
  • Schedule, advertise and plans for all meetings and agendas of Pinal Partnership
  • Assist with prospects and marketing for potential prospects at in-person events
  • Assist in organizational and community relations inside and outside the organization
  • Communicate goals of the Partnership and be an advocate with high visibility
  • Attend and engage in other organizations, events and committees as deemed appropriate
  • Participate and assist the President in development, networking, education and outreach
  • Manage and engage on social media channels to promote Pinal Partnership and gain exposure and potential members
  • Maintain and update Pinal Partnership website on a regular basis, light coding skills required
  • Stay current on Pinal County related news to post on Pinal Partnership website
  • Share Pinal County and membership news on social media and in newsletters sent to contact list
  • Create videos and articles spotlighting current members and committees for social media exposure
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable, communicate them to treasurer, accountant, and president
  • Develop annual budget alongside President and Treasurer
  • Work with accountant to keep annual budget updated
  • Perform other duties set forth from the Executive Committee and/or the Board of Directors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience engaging stakeholders and members
  • Sales and/or fundraising experience
  • Experience with marketing, event planning and relationship building
  • Administrative experience including budgeting and creating/analyzing reports
  • Computer literacy and design skills
  • Ability to work with and take direction from a diverse group of leaders
  • Ability to work early/late hours a couple times per month for Pinal Partnership events and outside networking events
  • A self-starter who can develop and execute organizational goals with little oversight and communicate efforts with Pinal Partnership leadership

This position is full-time and based from home with frequent travel throughout Pinal and Maricopa Counties required. Benefits include a flexible schedule and professional development.
