Cook sees progress on I-10, water permits

State Rep. David Cook, R-Globe, told local real estate professionals Thursday they may be able to enjoy more development soon due to progress he’s said could be made regarding Interstate 10 and water permits.
Through talks he said he’s had with the Gila River Indian Community, the Republican lawmaker said he has reason to believe things may be moving closer to widening the congested freeway between Casa Grande and Phoenix.
“The word I’m getting is we have almost got something done,” Cook said.
