A long-standing practice requiring the Apache Junction City Council to approve purchases of $25,000 or more may be increased to $50,000 under city code changes to be discussed in mid-September.

“This was a team effort by every department head, Bryant’s team and myself,” he said of City Manager Bryant Powell.
