Pinal judge gets some negative votes on retention from commission

Among the 64 Arizona judges up for a retention vote this year, a jurist in Pinal County is one of the few who have gotten any negative votes from a state commission.
The Arizona Commission on Judicial Performance Review assesses judges up for a retention vote each election cycle. This year, the commission members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the judges in Maricopa, Pima and Pinal counties.
But Pinal Superior Court Judge Steven Fuller, who was the subject of a criminal investigation this past year, notably received four votes as not meeting the standards for judicial office — the most any judge in Arizona received this year.
