Phil Burdick’s route to being Casa Grande’s public information officer has been conventionally unconventional.
Burdick was hired as the city’s new PIO last month and said he’s excited to get to work meeting people and learning more about Casa Grande.
Burdick, 60, started his career as a broadcast journalist for television station WAOW in Wausau, Wisconsin, before making the jump into a larger market at WGN in Chicago.
