Chamber’s 2018 Business/Community Awards to be presented at January 4, 2019 Annual Dinner

[NEWS RELEASE] The Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce will recognize the recipients of the 2018 Community Service, Excellence in Business Awards and the 2018 Hall of Fame inductee as well as Chamber board members, committee members and volunteers at the Chamber’s Annual Dinner/Awards Program, to be held Friday, January 4, 2019.

The recipients of the 2018 awards are Community Service, Evelyn Casuga, Achieve Pinal; Excellence in Business – Small Business (1-20 employees), Mi Amigo Ricardo; Excellence in Business – Large Business (21 or more employees), Central Arizona College and the 2018 Hall of Fame inductee is Rona Curphy, Pinal Alliance for Economic Growth.

The event will be held at The Property Conference Center, 1251 W. Gila Bend Hwy., Casa Grande. The dinner will begin with a no-host social at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 7:00 pm and a special video presentation honoring the award recipients.

The Annual Dinner is open to the public to attend, however reservations are required by Thursday, December 27, 2018. Annual Dinner tickets are $60.00 per person. Seating is not reserved, except when a table of 8 is purchased for $480.00.

“Back by popular demand, the evening will also feature a silent auction and a live auction,” said chamber President/CEO Helen Neuharth. “Any business that would like to donate an auction item of $50 or more value to the auction is welcome to contact the chamber by Wednesday, December 19. The business will be recognized at the Annual Dinner,” she added.
