Council approves settlement price for land near Eloy airport

The City Council has approved the acquisition of 5.61 acres of land at the Eloy Municipal Airport after reaching a settlement with the property owners.
In 2017 the council adopted a resolution that authorized the city to acquire parcels of land by negotiation or condemnation for two projects by ADOT and the FAA, which involve drainage improvements and relocation of the taxiway.
One of the parcels of 5.61 acres was owned by Toltec Airpark LLC.
