Eloy, and the rest of Pinal County, are benefiting from a state agency’s efforts on rural economic development.
That’s according to Keith Watkins, senior vice president for economic and rural development with the Arizona Commerce Authority.
Watkins, speaking to the Economic Development Group of Eloy, highlighted several steps his office has taken to assist rural communities in the economic development arena, including helping cities such as Casa Grande and Coolidge secure economic development grants and working with Central Arizona College to create a workforce training center for future employees for Lucid Motors and Nikola Motor Company.
