Vasquez working hard to change Eloy’s image

Eloy Police Chief Chris Vasquez admits his hometown doesn’t always have the best reputation from an outsider’s perspective.

But he’s committed to proving Eloy is not the “second worst city in Arizona,” as recently declared by a website that ranks cities and towns based on various types of data.

“I want to do what I can do about changing the image of the Police Department and the city,” the police chief said.
