Eloy council approves PD renovation contract

The City Council has approved a contract with CORE Construction to design and construct the police department renovation project.
The Eloy Police Department will expand into the space where the current Municipal Court, City Hall and finance building are located, and the current Police Department building will be completely rebuilt.
The contract the council approved on Monday is simply for a design and pre-construction services, which includes evaluating the condition of the existing structure for a schematic design of the facility.
