U-Haul industrial rezoning postponed to April meetings

Amerco Real Estate Co. and U-Haul International LLC have pushed-back their request to rezone acreage near the U.S. Highway 60 and Idaho Road in Apache Junction.
The two companies, represented by David Pollock, say a continuance from February to April will allow for time necessary to further develop their plans.
Amerco and U-Haul seek to rezone 50 acres of a 78-acre property at the southeast corner of U.S. 60 and south Idaho Road. The item has been continued to the April 9 Apache Junction Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, followed by an April 16 Apache Junction City Council meeting.
