The state’s transportation director says widening Interstate 10 between Casa Grande and Chandler is a key component to a vital transportation corridor.
Arizona Department of Transportation has put out a request for proposals for a design concept report and environmental study of Interstate 10 between Casa Grande and Chandler.
In collaboration with the Maricopa Association of Governments and the Gila River Indian Community, ADOT is studying the prospect of widening the 25-mile stretch of freeway to three lanes in each direction.
