More lots destined for Smoketree-Warner Neighborhood in Apache Junction

In 2014 the City of Apache Junction applied a zoning designation of a minimum of 20,000-square-foot lots for the Smoketree-Warner Neighborhood, which has homes on lots of a half or less of that size, the City Council was told recently.
Apache Junction City Council voted unanimously April 16 to approve a corrective rezoning from medium-density, single-family detached residential to medium/high-density, single-family detached residential.
There are 41 lots bounded by West Foothill Street, North Desert View Drive, West Smoketree Street and North Warner Drive.
