CGESD approves budget with $15K more for libraries

The Casa Grande Elementary School District board gave final approval to its $52 million budget for the 2019-20 school year on Tuesday with one small change.
The district added $15,000 more for library resources — increasing it to $40,000.
It was something that board President Judee Jackson and board member David Snider had said they would have liked to see more funding for during the June 11 meeting when the budget was tentatively approved.
