Madera West Estates subdivision to have 219 lots

The preliminary plat, or map, for a 219-lot Madera West Estates at the southwest corner of Queen Creek Road and 220th Street was recently approved by the Queen Creek Planning and Zoning Commission.
The commission approved the preliminary plat for 77 acres as part of a consent agenda.
The subdivision will be a gated community with private streets, Senior Planner Kyle Barichello said in a memo to the commission.
Residents will have one point of access off Queen Creek Road and 220th Street, with the south access point an exit only, he said.
