An administrative law judge has recommended that the Arizona Corporation Commission grant an increase in the minimum rate for Arizona Water Company customers of about $5 a month, at least in part because average usage has declined.

In 2019 AWC filed with the commission an intent for a rate case application for its three Western Group water service areas, including Casa Grande, Coolidge, Stanfield, White Tank and Ajo.
