Off-leash dog park agreement OK’d with Pinal County

A 2.6-acre park where dogs can run free could be open as early as spring 2022 in Apache Junction at the Pinal County complex at 575 N. Idaho Road.
Elected officials from the municipality voted unanimously Feb. 16 to approve an agreement with Pinal County on responsibilities of the upkeep and maintenance of the estimated $800,000 park.
“I would bark and say ‘yes,’” Apache Junction Mayor Chip Wilson said in voting.
