Florence Junior Parada Parade

The Town of Florence Parks and Recreation Department is hosting the Florence Junior Parada Parade on Saturday, November 29th, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  This annual event is the kick-off to the 82nd Annual Florence Junior Parada rodeo taking place on Saturday and Sunday, November 29th and 30th at the Charles Whitlow Rodeo Grounds.   Come help us celebrate this Florence tradition and enjoy the parade and the additional entertainment scheduled.

The parade is staged at Heritage Park and heads south on Main Street through downtown Florence.  In addition to the historic flavor of the parade, various food vendors and live music from the band Boondocks fills the morning air at Padilla Park, located at 77 West Ruggles St. (behind the Silver King Marketplace).
Test your luck at our Cornhole Tournament, which is scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. at Padilla Park.  Registration runs from 11:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at Padilla Park. The fee is only $20.00 per team and there is a 3 game guarantee.

Don’t miss out on all the fun, and join us for a traditional event, with some new flavor.
