Eloy mayor, councilwoman promote wellness through community walk

Mayor Micah Powell and Councilwoman Sylvia Guanajuato Rodriguez have come up with an idea to promote health and wellness and bring the community together.
That idea is “Miles with the Mayor,” where people can come out and walk with Powell and Guanajuato Rodriguez.
“We collaborated on this one,” Powell said. “We were talking about a wellness program and I said I’ve always wanted to do a Miles with the Mayor kind of thing, just get everybody together and start with that. She said, you know that’s not a bad idea just to get people involved.”
