Eloy to build new Great Western Bank building

Great Western Bank, a business fixture in Eloy, would like to move into a new building on Main Street, City Manager Harvey Krauss told the mayor and council at Monday’s regular meeting.
Council voted 4-2 to authorize the city manager to enter into a letter of intent with Great Western Bank. The development, construction, and partial financing of the new building would be the responsibility of the city. The new building would house the bank and the city’s finance and utility department.
