531b519065cf2.preview-300Luis Ramirez resigned his position as the city of Coolidge’s civil engineering inspector on March 21, the same day he pleaded not guilty at Pinal County Superior Court on five counts of sex crimes.

The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ramirez while he was on the job on March 6 after their investigations concluded that he had been sexually molesting and assaulting a female beginning when she was 9 years old. According to PCSO, the alleged victim told her friend about the crimes, and the friend reported it to them.
