Changes coming for San Manuel Airport

San Manuel AirportJim Petty, director of the Pinal County Airport Economic Development Department has shared an update on San Manuel Airport news. The most recent news that will impact San Manuel Airport includes:

#1 – The county is getting ready to bid out the ramp reconstruction. The bids are due March 24 and around April 5 a bidder will have been vetted and a contract will then go to the board. Upon approval construction should begin by early May. This will be a multi-phase project where an area will be completed so people can move their planes to the finished area while the area where they were once at can be re-done. Construction is expected to be completed in about two months. This is a full construction and not just an overlay. Shade ports will be an additional item that is up for bid, and depending on the cost will be completed as well.
