Quarrel over RVs in Pinal County continues

A clear conflict has emerged between winter visitors who own RVs and people who own property adjacent to where those RVs are parked.

There’s talk of state health codes and county policies, but it may come down to something simpler. There are people who don’t want RVs parked in neighborhoods with houses for long stretches, and there are RV owners, who also refer to themselves as RVers, who feel discriminated against.

Many of the RVers in Pinal County are visitors from Canada.

During last week’s meeting of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors, several people made public comments to the board regarding proposed changes to policies by the county Planning Division.
