Hundreds give input on proposed I-11 routes
Next meetings come in early 2017 when ADOT presents study results
More than 500 people turned out to give input at public meetings regarding the proposed Interstate 11 routing, and hundreds more gave their perspectives online.
The Arizona Department of Transportation’s Interstate 11 study team visited Casa Grande, Buckeye, Nogales, Tucson, Marana and Wickenburg to involve the communities in a process known as public scoping, part of an environmental study to select a corridor between Nogales and Wickenburg.
The six public meetings attracted 540 community members who shared comments and questions, ADOT said.
