Casa Grande’s $137 million budget draft for the fiscal year that starts July 1 calls for more than $312,000 to be paid to six community organizations.
The city’s annual contributions to Access Arizona, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Casa Grande Valley, Casa Grande Main Street, Casa Grande Valley Historical Society, Greater Casa Grande Chamber of Commerce and Pinal County Water Augmentation Authority are expected to be equal to the amounts paid last year.
The city’s proposed budget calls for Access Arizona to receive about $75,000, about 17.5 percent of its operating budget. The organization requested $75,444, according to city staff reports.
