Casa Grande council considers partnership with Maricopa center

City Council members will have a chance to hear discussion on a proposed family advocacy center agreement with the city of Maricopa.

During a study session Monday night, Casa Grande council members will learn about the Maricopa Family Advocacy Center and a possible partnership between the Casa Grande Police Department and the city of Maricopa.

Previously, city staff pulled the item from consideration following concerns raised by a local nonprofit that said “they are providing similar services in Casa Grande,” City Manager Larry Rains said.
