Greyhound bus terminal gets red light from Casa Grande panel

Planning and zoning commissioners have thrown up roadblocks to the current location of the bus terminal in Casa Grande.
Attorneys representing the Chevron station at Trekell and Kortsen roads, where the Greyhound stop is located, as well as an attorney for Greyhound, implored the commission to approve a change to zoning that would allow the bus terminal to remain. Currently, it isn’t a permitted use at that location.
The saga started last year when Greyhound was forced to relocate from the Chevron station at Florence Boulevard and Pinal Avenue, which is closed. The Greyhound buses began stopping at the Trekell Chevron in July of last year.
