Pratt, Shope talk local issues in ‘historic’ session

Recapping what was said to be a “historic” session, two legislators gave an update in Casa Grande Thursday.
State Rep. T.J. Shope, R-Coolidge, and Sen. Frank Pratt, R-Casa Grande, spoke to a group of Casa Grande Republicans, offering their thoughts on the past session, which Shope said was “one of the most historic in state history.”
Shope mentioned the expulsion of Rep. Don Shooter for sexual harassment, the special session on opioid abuse and, of course, the recent budget discussions and teacher strikes, as adding to the historic nature of the session.
