Bebee ready to get to work in Casa Grande

The new school superintendent says he’s excited to hit the ground running.
Steve Bebee was hired Tuesday night by the Casa Grande Union High School District Governing Board. Bebee is coming to Casa Grande from Cave Creek, where he’s been the principal at Cactus Shadows High School for nine years.
“Cactus Shadows High School is the only high school in the Cave Creek Unified School District and is very much a small town high school,” Bebee said. “When I started at Cactus Shadows nine years ago, there were many issues with the lack of school spirit, lack of educational offering for students and many social issues that existed within the community.”
