McNutt vying for constable, touts law enforcement background

A diverse background that includes law enforcement makes one candidate for constable “highly qualified,” he said.

Scott McNutt, who currently works as a reserve police officer in Superior, says he’s the most qualified to fill the role in Casa Grande now that longtime Constable Ben Crow is retiring.

“I feel my life experience and recent training have prepared me for being constable. I have not spent my career in one field,” McNutt said. “I have worked for Major League Baseball, was a contractor, a police reporter for the Casa Grande Dispatch and a police officer. Each of these positions has allowed me to interact with the public in different ways.”
