The City Council approved a tentative budget for 2018-19 at its meeting Monday.

The proposed budget totals $51,779,600, which is an increase from last year’s $46,767,295.

This year’s budget will have a property tax rate cut. The recommended property tax rate will be around $1.12 per $100 net assessed valuation, down from $1.20.
