Survey shows many employees, students dissatisfied at CAC

A recently conducted survey shows rates of satisfaction among Central Arizona College faculty and students well below peers.

Last week the CAC Governing Board discussed plans to improve the campus facilities, technological and learning environment following the survey results, which didn’t achieve the college’s own target from students and faculty.

Employee satisfaction with the overall teaching environment was just 47 percent in 2017, and even lower at 34 percent for full-time faculty. The board selected a target of 60 percent to work toward. The college plans to gather feedback from full-time faculty to seek opportunities for improvement and to redevelop classroom space on campus.
